News
- [14.03.2005] The exam results
are now available. The exam inspection will take place on
Monday, 21st of March 2005 in room S2|02 E102 at 9:00. If you are taking part
in the "MATHEMATIK 3" exam during this time, please send me
an email and come at the alternative time at 13:00 (with prior registration
via email only). 50 points are needed in order to pass the
exam. For those, who have used a second attempt on this exam and will fail
either because of part ICS-1 or part ICS-2, there will be an oral reexamination
on Thursday, 24th of March, starting 11:30. Please email me at kuehne@informatik.tu-darmstadt.de
to arrange a time slot.
- [23.02.2005] The ICS1 module exam takes place at the 2nd
of March 2005 from 8:00 to 10:00am in S1|01
Room 054. Please don't confuse this exam with the exam for
the course conducted by Klaus Ostermann and Mira Mezini. It is offered as
a repeat exam for those who failed a previous module exam associated with
the lecture held by Thomas Kühne.
- [7.12.2004] The board is now password protected if accessed from outside
the university. Either request the password by mail or connect from an IP
address from within the university network.
- [05.11.2004] The final results for
the module exam 2004/2005 are now online.
- [26.10.2004] The exam inspection will take place on the Thursday,
4th of November in room S2|02 E102 from 12:30
- 14:00. For part one you need a minimum of 45 points, for
part two 30 points (part two was designed to yield less than 100 points for
a perfect solution given the timeframe), and in total 85 (of 200) are required
for passing the exam.
- [16.10.2004] The preliminary
results of the module exam (for the ICS-1 part) are now
online.
- [24.09.2004] The module exam on October
4th will take from 8:00-10:00 (for
the ICS-1 part) in Building S3
11 (the "Hexagon") Room 008. Please be there at least 15 minutes
before the exam starts. You may use any course material during the exam. Information
regarding the ICS-2 part is elsewhere.
- [06.05.2004] The final results for the module
exam are now imported in the registration
system.

on March 29th, 2004 may now check their result.
If you encounter difficulties let us know via email. The exam inspection will
be on May 6th, starting from 10:00 to at
least 11:00 in S2

- [23.03.2004] The ICS-1 exam will take place
on Monday, March 29th, from 8:00-10:00 at
S2|06,
Room 030.
- [08.03.2004] The exam inspection for the trial
exam will be on Friday, March 19th. from 9:30-11:00
at C301, S4|03,
Wilhelminenstr. 7. Please show up between 9:30-10:00. After
10:00 we will close the exam inspection when all have been
served.
- [08.03.2004] ICS-II will be held by Dr. Grieser,
who reported that he is no longer looking for tutors.
- [02.03.2004] The results of the trial exam
are online. You have to log
in at the registration system to see your marks achieved (out of 90 marks
possible). We decided on a "virtual pass mark" of 43 marks. This
means, if you have 43 or more marks, you passed the exam with a grade 4. 56
or more leads to grade 3, 69 marks the border to grade 2 and if you achieved
82 or more marks, you would've got a 1.
- [12.02.2004] The
last exercise sheet is online. As already mentioned the exercise groups from
Monday are moved to Friday (see below). There are a few minor errors on the
printed version of the sheet, look here for the corrections.
- [11.02.2004] Registration for exam and project
is closed. Registered students which are not part of a 4 student / 2 nationality
team will be merged to teams of 4 after the introductory lecture on monday.
Teams with four students have to be present as well. The room for the exam
and the introductory lecture will be announced here and in the last lecture.
- [03.02.2004] Please register for the trial
exam and the programming project by Tuesday 10th of February 2004 the latest.
To register for the project, please keep the RBG login names of your three
colleagues ready. Make sure to be an international group (at least two different
nationalities should be included). We will change groups consisting of one
nationality manually. If you enter a group with less then four members then
the remaining vacancies will be assigned by us. Check your RBG email accounts
for news with respect to this.
- [02.02.2004] Feedback for Precourse:
Please submit
your feedback with respect to the precourse as well! Click "Beantworten"
and then select "Precourse Introduction to Programming" from the
first list. The feedback form itself is in English.
- [26.01.2004] Feedback: Today we handed out
the feedback forms. Additional forms will be handed out in the exercise class.
Please hand them back to your tutor by Monday, February 2nd the latest. Alternatively
you can submit your feedback electronically.
Please be as precise and honest (in both ways: positive and negative) as possible,
so that we know what to keep and what to improve.
